AXL ROSE Sighted At THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND Gig In New York
March 29, 2006According to a posting at Splat, GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose was seen on Saturday night (March 25) at a THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND gig in New York. The concert at the Beacon Theater was the final night for the band after a recent run of gigs at the venue.
Unfortunately, it appears that Axl was subjected to a tirade of abuse by the onlooker. Axl was reported to have left the scene with a "crazy stare."

Axl Rose was also seen at another THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND gig earlier last week.
If you didn't know, THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND features Derek Trucks, who is said to be Axl Rose's favorite new guitarist of the moment. However, contrary to speculation, Trucks' manager insists that Trucks will be touring with ERIC CLAPTON this summer, and not GUNS N' ROSES.
In other news, ContactMusic.com is reporting that late THE CLASH rocker Joe Strummer contributed guitar for "Janky Holocaust", a track recorded for the long-awaited GUNS N' ROSES album "Chinese Democracy", two weeks before his death. Rose has since reportedly ditched the tune from the finished album.
